Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my Google rankings?
We map every old URL to its new Shopify URL with 301 redirects and carry over your meta titles and descriptions, which protects your rankings and traffic.
Can my customers keep their passwords?
For security reasons, passwords can't be transferred between platforms. Customer accounts are migrated, and we set up a friendly account-activation email so customers can set a new password in one click.
Will my store go offline during the migration?
No. Your new Shopify store is built in parallel, and we switch your domain at a low-traffic time, so customers can keep shopping throughout.
How long does a migration take?
Most migrations take 3–8 weeks, depending on catalog size, order history and any custom features or integrations.
