Beware of Scam Emails Impersonating Hura Apps
At Hura Apps, your store's security and your peace of mind are our top priorities. We have recently been made aware of a series of fraudulent emails being sent to our clients by scammers pretending to be members of the Hura Apps team.
These individuals are using unauthorized Gmail addresses such as:
- suport.huraapps.com@gmail.com
- sales.huraapps@gmail.com
The Nature of the Scam
The phishing emails claim that Shopify is conducting "platform-wide reviews" regarding license synchronization, security, and accessibility standards. They use technical jargon and artificial deadlines (e.g., March 30th and April 10th, 2026) to pressure you into granting them access to your store or providing sensitive information.

Please be advised: These emails are 100% fraudulent. They are not sent by Hura Apps, nor are they official Shopify communications.
How to Identify a Genuine Communication
To protect your business, please remember the following golden rule regarding our communication:
Official Hura Apps staff will ONLY contact you from an email address ending in @huraapps.com.
If you receive an email claiming to be from us sent from a @gmail.com, @outlook.com, or any other domain, it is a scam.
What Should You Do?
If you receive one of these suspicious emails:
- Do Not Reply: Engaging with the scammers confirms your email is active.
- Do Not Click Links: Avoid clicking any links or downloading attachments, as they may contain malware or lead to fake login pages.
- Do Not Grant Permissions: Never invite these email addresses to your Shopify staff accounts or provide "Collaborator Request" codes.
- Report and Block: Mark the email as "Spam" or "Phishing" within your email client and block the sender immediately.
Our Commitment to You
We are currently investigating these incidents and taking the necessary steps to report these fraudulent accounts. We value the relationship we have built with your business and regret any confusion or concern these malicious actors may have caused.
If you are ever in doubt about the authenticity of a message, please reach out to us directly through our official website or our verified support channels.
Stay safe and vigilant,
